Creator Guidelines

BlackVeil is a curated home for cinematic visual storytelling. These guidelines help your work land well and stay on the platform.

Last updated · June 8, 2026

1. What we publish

  • Original graphic novels, illustrated fiction, and visual narratives.
  • Serialized chapters with a clear arc and consistent cadence.
  • Mature work is welcome when properly tagged.

2. What we don't allow

  • Sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance, instant ban.
  • Non-consensual or hateful content targeting protected groups.
  • Plagiarism, scraped art, or work uploaded without rights.

3. Technical specs

  • Cover: 1600×2400 (2:3), PNG or high-quality JPEG.
  • Pages: portrait, max 4096px on the longest side.
  • 10MB per page maximum; we re-encode and serve responsive variants.

4. Chapters & cadence

We recommend publishing on a predictable rhythm — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Use the scheduling tools in the studio to stay consistent.

5. Mature tagging

Tag mature chapters honestly. Readers can filter mature content platform-wide, and mis-tagged stories may be unpublished.

6. Reporting
